Welcome to the Yoakum ISD Parent Portal.
If you are having problems accessing the assignments of your student, after login please look to the bottom, right of the Parent Portal screen. Click near the word Navigation to activate that part of the screen, and then scroll down. You will then click on Grades, and then assignments. Now on the right side of the screen you can see individual assignments for the selected student. Please see the district homepage for a document that shows a side by side comparison between the new and old Parent Portals.
On Thursday, November 14, we updated the Parent Portal to Ascender Parent Portal. Please update any bookmark, favorite, or shortcut you may have from the old address to the new address listed below. Parents will be able to use their current Parent Portal account information to access their student’s information for grades and attendance.

There is no app for the Parent Portal and no mobile site. There are Parent Portal apps available, but they are for other software. You will not be able to access your student's information with an app.
Each campus has a mailing list to which we invite you to subscribe. You will see subscription instructions after you log in.
Grades are updated every evening. Attendance is updated hourly. If you have questions about the Parent Portal, please call (361) 293-6960.
